I've sworn I couldn't watch it anymore, but I'm giving it another whirl this year. So far, I hate Russell.

you bet we are! That Russell is great! I love to watch him work. Not that I want him to win but I am enjoying watching all the people fall for his story. I
think soon enough some of them should figure him out.

We've been watching. I can't believe how Russell has been able to manipulate people. I thought it was great that he found the immunity idol without any
clues. I'm wondering how long it will take his team to bring him down.

He's ruthless and hateful. If you so much as look sideways at him, you're done. I wonder if casting is done durinng the previous season or if it's
after the season has aired. Maybe he thinks he can be nastier than Coach.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it's not his team's fault that they "fall" for his stories. How would they know that he's lying? And
why did he empty their water bottles? What kind of lame-ass move is that? From what I can tell, he's pretty much keeping out of people's way, other
than spreading the hate, so I'd be surprised if they catch on to him soon.
I would like to see a season where Russell and Johnny Fairplay are on the same tribe.

Russ is a total prick bastard, and he's playing those people like violins.
 But I do think they'll figure him out. I just don't know if
they'll do anything about him. Most people tend to make the dumbest choices in these games, and I think if Russell's Dumb Girl Alliance finds anything
out, they'll go right to him and alert him, because they trust him.
Fairplay was a one-trick pony. He shot his wad and no one would ever trust him or believe him for a second. And he self-destructed on his second try. He's had all his chances, and I hope no producer is dumb enough to want him back. |

I won't be watching. I think they have done as much with the format as they can. & it always shows the worst side of human nature.
We have a sky channel called the Box. The just repeated Survivor Oz & Africa. Back then people still thought yo u could be a nice person & win. Contestants have clearly given up on that idea now. I can't read your Amazing Race thread as its not been shown here yet - & I still love that show!

Why are they doing only one challenge per show?? It is really bothering me. I like two challenges - reward and then immunity.
Russel is a jackass but he is pretty much running things, or so it seems. They are barely showing the purple tribe at all. I love Shamwow (Shambo? I call her Shamwow) and hope she can make it through the first Tribal she has to go to. |

I've been wondering the same thing about the single challenges. Those reward challenges can really rev up the petty BS with the losing team.
We're
likely to be seeing much more of the purple team after tonight, what with Russ getting overthrown and then the ClubMed kids booting a much stronger competition
player.

Has anyone on any Survivor boards been able to confirm that Russell does own an oil company? I've been meaning to look around, but haven't. I don't
remember what clothes he came in with, but that underwear he's been wearing doesn't look very GQ.

I never thought of that.
My mom's family all have an interest in an oil well in Texas. After they split it up, they're lucky to get $50 every six
months.
I'm not sure he'd be very successful at massage oils. He's kind of creepy. "Want to buy some of my massage oils? I'll demonstrate
them for you."

*that's "fuel" oil, not "fule" oil. I know how to spell...apparently I can't type though.
I was looking for the rain mistake but didn't notice it when I watched. I can't find anything on Russell, other than Survivor related items. I'm glad Shamwow is still around! |
