Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Rather than take over the other thread I thought maybe we could have one devoted to recommending one YouTube video a day each. I thought a limit might be a good idea because if you're anything like me you get carried away and post 15 videos and then folks just can't watch that many and may get fed up and just not bother. I'm the worst culprit so if we all self-limit then maybe we can share/indoctrinate/mind control/brainwash others into trying something a little out of their comfort zone.

I love Beardfish. These guys do help fill the void of silliness left when Zappa passed.

'The Golden Age of Wireless' and 'The Flat Earth'. Both brilliant albums. I don't know why I haven't bought any of his other stuff. One of these days... Liked the Beardfish song. Particularly liked the instrumental piece towards the end. Love the Mom song. I have heard it before. Funnily enough my mother sent it to me in an email a few weeks ago. It's a classic! (To imbed, and I only learned how to do this a coupla days back myself, you have to be in the 'Quick Reply' box. Apparently, and I haven't put this to the test, it won't work in the 'New Reply'. Goodness knows why??? Anyhoo... to the right of the youtube video you'll see the word embed. Cut and paste the entire line into Quick Reply and Bob's your uncle!)

Hit the "embed" tab and the drop down that shows will have a title bar and 3 sites to choose from, You Tube being the first. I always copy and paste the title of the video I want, then hit the YT button and a list of relevant titled vids will show. The one you want should be there - probably first. Just click the "embed" option, or "preview" to make sure it's the right one, and it should show right up.

I don't hate all of it. There are quite a few bands that have a country influence in their music, like for instance the Eagles and some Doobie Bros. and the like. I can listen to them. And I have a Juice Newton greatest hits LP. That's probably my limit. But the point of this, one track per person per day thread (sorry, but we'll drive each other crazy competing if we don't limit), is that we get to hear a little of what others like and broaden our horizons. Anyhoo... that Daniel Gildenlow has more patience than I would have. I'd have told them to shut the fuck up!

It's hard to pick a favourite but I'm going with 'Pull up to the Bumper' because it has a great dance beat to it.
